The Bungy Cord is simple in form, but complex in design. It is made of hundreds of strands of latex rubber. Each Bungy Cord is manufactured by our Jump Masters, at each of our sites, to ensure quality is at a peak at all times. The cord is stretched up to four times its length when used in a Jump!

There are four different diameter cords and depending on how heavy you are, determines which cord you will be jumping from. Every person who Bungy Jumps is weighed and matched to the best suitable cord. The Jump Masters are able to lift or lower the bungy cord and set it to match the weight of the jumper. This enables them to judge the distance between the ground and the person down to 50cm, pretty impressive hey? Especially when jumping off a 50m or even a 233m tower.

If we are not busy and we can spare one of our crew, we often arrange for people that aren't sure if they can take on the jump by themselves the option of jumping with one of our crew (with the exception of our Macau & Sentosa Bungy sites).

Most definitely. Some periods of the year and times of the day our sites are booked out so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Booking is quick and easy on this site.

Yes. Of course you can bring your friends and family out to the site with you! They are guaranteed to have a great time watching all the excitement on site and may even decide to get involved in an activity themselves!

We retire our cords at approximately one-third of their life. We check the cords daily and log every single jump and weight that the cord has been used for.

Every Bungy Jumper at an AJ Hackett site has two points of contact for every jump. You will have a traditional foot tie around your ankles and a waist harness as well as a back-up form of attachment.

Safety for our customers and crew is of the utmost importance to us. We strive to eliminate any risk or potential for incident through the use of specialised technology, operational awareness, site design and crisis procedures.

All Jump crew are highly trained to the highest standards of Jump Master Accreditation and complete regular refresher courses through an independent trainer. The Code of Practice for Bungy Jumping, AS/NZS 5848, was developed by AJ Hackett in conjunction with the New Zealand and Australian Governments. These safety standards are the recognised standard for Bungy Jumping internationally.

All activity-related equipment is produced using the highest-available manufacturing standards. All Bungy cords are manufactured specifically for each site by AJ Hackett International. Hardware utilised for operations requires ratings and certification before being introduced into operations.

No - this has never happened at any of our sites. The tension in your eyes when you Bungy Jump is the same as sneezing!

Bungy Jumping will not hurt your back, in fact the transition is really smooth, as the cord is made of elastic and it stretches with you. It has no more impact on your back than riding a mountain bike, skiing or jumping off a chair. If you have any concerns or pre-existing issues our crew on site can confirm specific advice for you.

You sure can! We take great pride in being able to jump people of all abilities and can also jump people in wheelchairs - and do it quite regularly!
